Onnik invites for discussion and comments both at Oneworld and the CRD/TI Armenia’s Election Monitor 2007 about the issues related to the “Prosperous Armenia” – the “overnight” party that recruited 370,000 memebers over the period of one year to become the largest party around (RFE/RL). The methods employed by the party to attract new memebership have been regarded by many critics as “wholesale vote buying” and the policy of the party has been labelled as “potato democracy” by the IWPR. At any rate, like Onnik puts it:

My name is Gordon Adu from Papua New Guinea and read and hear lot about you and your Prosperous Armania Party. I wish to request two things for you and me to work on if you are willing.
First, I want us (you anf me to carry out business activities by having joint ventures in my country where we have huge resources to be taped in. Businesses like mining industry which booming in our country, Timber industry, we have large tropical rain forest with all the hard wood with different specious, Agricultural projects, Fishing industries like Tuna fish is so plantiful to harvest. Set up TV stations, we have only one station n the country, Real Estated business such as buying and building houses and sell them or rent them all out. This business is on high demand. There are lot more business can be done here.
Secondly, I want to form a new Political Party and want to name it, Prosperous Papua New Guinea (PNG) Party. I want adopt your party in my country and apply same party polies your Prosperous Armia Party has but there will be same changes to suit my country. I am very desperate to form the party to go into election in year 2012 and endorse cadidates right troughout the country to win 109 seats in the PNG National Parliament. I need your assistant to set this party up here.
I am an educated elite and Chief (King) in my clan because I am the principal Land Owner. Even in my own land we can we can put up Hotels and Guest Houses to bring Tourists to the country without any problems. We can also run some mining companies on Gold, Iron, Zinc, Copper and Iridium which has atomic element.
I am currently working with one of the worlds international Gold company as and Senior Human Resources Training Advisor. The company is from Canada called Barrick Gold. I want to resign to run my own businesses but I am having problems in having finance to run above businesses highlighted above.
