Ara Abrahamian, President of the Union of Russian Armenians, a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador makes a complete fool of himself speaking hillariously broken Russian. Why would he want to do that, I wonder? And how could someone who lives in Russia for decades, speak such bad Russian?

Obviously you have not heard a lot of Armenians who live in Los Angeles for years and cannot speak English if their lives depended on it.
Well, I’ve heard quite a lot of Armenians speak pretty bad English in Glendale, Boston, etc., but this is not quite the same – you have to agree. Abrahamian represents the Armenian community in Russia, he is often invited for meetings with senior Russian politicians, businessman, etc. And to come out speaking like that?! He could have at least asked someone to write a couple of sentences for him and learn to say it by heart, or something!
Maybe he doesn’t give a rat’s ass – he is important enough for these politicians to want to be in his presence. They are lucky he actually speaks in Russian instead of having a translator.
What is this show, anyway? Why is it in Russian while all the people seem to look like Armenians?
can you translate what he says or what he says wrong? is it his grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation? for someone that doesn’t speak Russian, it sounds like he known’s what he’s saying…
It’s both horrible grammar and bad pronunciation. I’m a little busy right now, but will try to find time and translate what he’s saying.
