Skiing, jazz and basketball are 3 things that became very popular among Armenian officials while Kocharian was in power. Some officials actually stayed with those hobbies even after Kocharian left presidency – perhaps in the hope of Kocharian’s comeback? E.g. the head of Armenian traffic police Margar Ohanian was also in the resort – hoping to meet and ski along the ex-president at some point.
On the second half of the day the president of Armenia Serzh Sargsian arrived in Tsakhadzor as well.
