Armenian opposition held a rally on March 1 to commemorate the 4th anniversary of post-election violence in Yerevan. The rally was concluded by a march from the Liberty square to Grigor Lusavorich avenue, the scene of the bloody events 4 years ago.

A noteworthy development on March 1 was the “legalization” of the inclusion of the army in suppressing civilian demonstrations inside Armenia. In a blatant violation of the Constitution, Armenia is now a de-facto fascist county.
And many Armenians had a stroke after this events. I always remember the our Big Karen with tears. Karen was a former president of UNDP.
For many people it is the firs day of spring and for the others it is the day of great tragedy….
From a banditocracy to fascism in exactly 4 years. Even the cynicism to pass this law on March 1 is typical. I have written a littel bit more on the subject in my blog.
