Tearnyndaraj — Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ and Blessing Day of Newlyweds

On February 14, the Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Feast of the Lord’s Presentation to the Temple.
Tiarn’ndaraj, as it is known in Armenian, symbolizes the presentation of the 40 day-old Christ Child to the Temple in Jerusalem.
His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, has declared this to be the Blessing Day for newlyweds.
Following the celebration of Divine Liturgy, newly married couples will be blessed in all Armenian Churches.
