According to the Caucasus Barometer 2013, 55% of Armenians support Armenia’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union. More importantly, only 13% are against it.
PS: I trust the Caucasus Barometer and their data. The only problem with this chart is this — I’m pretty sure the 55% of Armenians, plus the 11% who said they don’t know, in reality have a very vague understanding of what the membership in EEU will mean for the country’s future.

  1. You’re probably right about that, Artur jan, but that is the answer to the question they gave in this nationwide household survey. You might also be interested to know that respondents were also asked about support of country’s membership in EU. The results? 13% don’t support at all, 10% “rather not support”, 25% “equally support and don’t support” (i.e. undecided), 25% “rather support”, 15% fully support, and 11% most didn’t know though some people refused to answer. The two questions were asked one after another and you can see that more people supported membership to EEU than EU — whether they knew what that means for the country’s future or not. Here’s the chart on the question about support of Armenia joining the EU: http://caucasusbarometer.org/en/cb2013am/EUSUPP/
