Thousands join Torchlight Procession in Yerevan Honoring Victims of the Armenian Genocide

The march kicked off in Yerevan’s Freedom square with burning of Turkish and Azerbaijani flags. Whilte

The procession went through downtown Yerevan and concluded at the eternal fire of Tsitsernakabert, the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
A similar march was held also in Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This second march is particularly impressive, because of the threat from Azerbaijan, which could use the tourches and lights as a suitable target given the recent escalation on the frontline and the recorded incidents of indiscriminate attacks against the civilian population on the live of contact.
