Salary growth slows while price index ups to result in lower quality of life

The dynamics of development of price index and salary growth in Armenia in 2011

Digging around the Armenian National Statistical Service today I put together this chart which seems to indicate, that while the salaries haven’t been growing in August, price index on the contrary, has continued to rise. This would mean in a lower quality of life overall, if my interpretation is correct. Here are links to Consumer Price Index, % / 2011 and Average monthly nominal wages, drams / 2011.

  2. Dear Observer, I hope you are not trying to blame current authorities for this one too. This phenomena is happening worldwide — just open todays Yahoo Finance and you’ll see the same subject there — US incomes fall for first time in nearly 2 years.

    1. I’m just observing the fact. Economy is not my strength, so I just put these finding here for ppl to consider.
